Welcome to the 17th Annual Megan Savage Memorial Run/Walk for a Cure on Saturday, Sept 25! Our race will be virtual again so you can participate from anywhere! After you register, print your Race Bib from a link provided in your confirmation email. Write in 'who you walk/run for' and help us spread awareness for cancer by sharing pictures of your walk/run on social media. Feel great knowing you are helping a child beat cancer! We will be at McCarthy Park Friday, September 24 from 4-6pm and Saturday, Sept 25 from 7-9am to hand out event shirts to all local participants and to thank you for your participation.  The start and finish line will be clearly marked at McCarthy Park Friday evening and Saturday for those who wish to complete our McCarthy Park 5K. For out of towners, select Mail my Shirt if you can't pickup locally. 

Registration is $30 or become a VIP Walker for $50 and $20 of your registration will buy a gas card for a family. Make your 5K more fun by creating a Team!  Ask family, friends, and co-workers to join you!  The more members who sign up, the bigger the discount! 
*Teams of 4-9 members get $2 off. (Members 1-3 will be refunded $2 back to their card after the 4th person registers, and members 4-9 will see the $2 discount when they register.)  
*Teams of 10-19 members get $5 off! (Members 1-9 will get an additional $3 refunded back to their card after the 10th person registers. 10-19 will see the discount when they register.)  
*Teams of 20+ members get $8 off!! (Members 1-19 receive an additional $3 refunded back to their card after the 20th person registers, and 20+ will see the $8 off when they register.)  
*Be sure to invite friends and family from out of town too, since they can walk from their own town and still be part of your team. 
*Forming a team in honor or memory of someone with cancer is a great way to show your love and support.  
TEAM SETUP STEPS
Step 1: Set up a team and give it a name or find your team name if it already exists! 
Step 2: Register yourself first (as captain), then share the link and your team name on social media or through email/text to invite others to join your team. Ask team members to invite more friends and family for a bigger team discount. Team members can do their walk together or choose to do it on their own anywhere. The Megan's Wings 5K Course at McCarthy Park will be marked with the start and finish line on Sept 24 & 25. 
Step 3. Everyone prints their own customizable bib to wear and share who you walk for.
Step 4. Be sure to post pictures of your walk on social media and tag Megan's Wings Foundation!! @MegansWings #MegansWings.
Step 5. Feel great knowing you brought your family and friends together for a good cause to help families fighting cancer!!
