Welcome To The Race That Only Happens ONCE Every Four Years.  

The PRESIDENTIAL HALF MARATHON will Only Have 500 Slots And THE PRESIDENTIAL 5K Will Only Have 250 Slots. Each Runner Will Receive A Limited Addition Long Sleeve Presidential Technical Shirt And Custom Presidential Metal.

THIS RACE IS NOT A RALLY FOR ANY POLITICAL PARTY.  

Our Goal Is To Provide Everyone A Link Where You Can Register To Vote, Host An Amazing Event For You & To Have A Good Time Running In The Nations Capital.

Event details and schedule

The Course Is An Out & Back On The Capital Crescent Towpath Starting In Georgetown & Heading Towards Fletcher’s Cove.  Each Mile Will Be Marked And A Marshall Will Be At Your Turnaround For The 5K & Half Marathon.

The 5K Will Begin At 7:00AM

The Half Marathon Will Begin At 8:45AM And We Have 2 Hours & 45 Minutes To Clear The Towpath.  

There Will Be Two Water Stations On The Course Including One At The Start /  Finish Line.

Portable Restrooms Will Be Located At The Start / Finish Area And At Fletcher’s Cove.

We Will Have A FREE Bag Check At The Start / Finish Line And A Red Carpet Finish & Backdrop For Some Amazing Pictures.

Additional Medals Will Be Given To The 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Male & Female Overal, And In Age Groups.   The Top Three Overall Male & Female Will Be:

1st Place - The President 

2nd Place - The Vice President 

3rd Place - The Speaker Of The House

You Each Will Have A Photo Opt And Will Be Presented With Your Medals To Show Off For The Next Four Years.  In Addition, You Will Be Invited Back In Four Years To Run For FREE To Defend Your Title.

There Is A No Refund Policy, However, Race Insurance Can Be Purchased On Active.com When You Register.
