Join the Ohio Housing Finance Agency and Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing for the 3rd annual OHFA & OCCH Race for a Place (to Call Home) 5K. This fun run/walk raises money for organizations on the frontline of homeless shelters, emergency services and prevention: Cleveland/Cuyahoga County Continuum of Care, Neighborhood Properties - Toledo and the Athens/Hocking/Vinton County Mental Health Board. These organizations serve single adults, youth, families, survivors of domestic violence, and those with mental health needs. Proceeds from the race will be distributed to each organization to serve specific shelters and programs in their communities.

This family-friendly event is perfect for serious runners, casual walkers and the entire family! We are adding some serious fun to this year's race and will be featuring costumed characters, balloon artists, face painters and more. Enjoy some healthy fun in the Columbus Arena District and support a great organization doing amazing work in Ohio.

When: October 10th, 2020 @ 9am (rain or shine)

Race Packet Pick-Up (In Advance): For your convenience, you may pick up your packet in advance at Community Properties of Ohio Management Services (CPO) (933 East Gay Street, Columbus, Ohio 43203) Wednesday, October 7th and Thursday, October 8th from 1pm – 4:00 pm.

Registration Packet Pick-Up (Race Day): Before the race begins, you may pick up your packet at Boston's (191 W Nationwide Blvd, Columbus, Ohio 43215)

Race Registration Includes: Custom race shirt, bib, finisher medal, swag bag and post-race snacks.

Awards: The top two participants ages 18 and under and the top two participants ages 19 and older will receive an award.

Chip Timing: NEW IN 2020! Participants can choose to race with or without timing. If you’re getting ready for a longer race, or just warming up for the running season, this may be the option for you! Just click "add chip timing" to your registration! **Only participants with chip timing are eligible for awards.**
