The 8th Annual Shamrock Showdown 5K - RESCHEDULED to Saturday October 3rd

Saturday, October 3rd Registration at 8AM with Event Start Time of 9AM

Dear Participants - Due to the coronavirus we will be rescheduling this event for Saturday, October 3rd in the Rossmoyne Business Center. Those that are pre-registered and paid for the March event will be able to participate in October's race at no additional expense. Those that were not registered for the March 21st event can still participate in October but will of course have to register and pay the fee. More information to follow.

The event will be re-branded as the Shamrock Showdown will not be appropriate in October but October is Halloween season and after this international disaster we will celebrate Zombie Apocalypse style. Stay tuned for details!!

Run will take place in the Rossmoyne Business Center Mechanicsburg, PA and we are expecting GREAT WEATHER! Late registrations are welcome!

What motivates you to run? 

• Will you run for prizes? Check - we offer prizes for competitive runners by age/gender for 1st and 2nd place and 1st and 2nd place overall by gender! Race is chip timed!


• Running to support a cause? Check - We will be supporting Autism Awareness . You can make a difference celebrating brilliance!
  


• NEW: Is this your first race? We have something extra special for you!


• Running to get cool swag? Swag has been ordered for those pre-registered. We will have limited quantities of swag available for those registering late. Late registrations are welcome!

Our course in Rossmoyne Business Center has been enjoyed for 8 years now by over 1,000 runners and walkers that appreciate the nice flat well-paved road.

THANK YOU to the folks in the business center for generously allowing us to enjoy this beautiful park!

The course is conveniently located off Routes 11/15, 581, and the PA Turnpike featuring FREE PARKING in a traffic free location with use of INDOOR RESTROOMS which can be rather nice if the 5K is greeted by inclement weather.

Grab a group of friends or family members and wear your craziest Shamrock gear - Green shorts, red beards, leprechaun hats, and more! Leashed dogs and strollers are often decorated and enjoyed by spectators.

YOUTH UNDER AGE 12:

"Untimed" Children under 12 running or walking with a family member are FREE! Please note, they will not receive swag, appear in timing results, or be eligible for prizes but they are more than welcome to participate!!

Competitive kiddos are welcome to register to be eligible for prizes and receive SWAG (t-shirt) at a discounted rate by using the code "SHAMROCK"

Best dressed category prize for Male and Female!

PACKET PICKUP: THURSDAY March 19th at Marzoni's Brick Oven 4925 Ritter Rd. Mechanicsburg from 4:30-6:30PM. Marzoni's will also be opening early to host our participants after the race that want to grab a drink or a treat and spend time with friends!

Registration night of packet pick up is welcomed but swag is limited!!

 RESULTS/AWARDS: Will immediately follow the race and will be posted online!
