Join participants from the great states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, California, Illinois, Colorado, Georgia, Virginia, Wisconsin, and North Carolina in the Purple Heart Half Marathon

This Half marathon Labor Day Road Race are run to recognize and honor all those who have served and are serving our great nation. Join us to celebrate and to show support for the Veterans and active service members.

NOTE: Sullivan Ave and Main St will be closed to traffic at 7:30 am. Please use Governors and Strong from Rte 5. Then travel North on Main Street to the Board of Education Building.

Sunday Sept 6 - 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Awards : TBD - We may have to mail awards to top 3 male and top 3 female finishers

No Finisher Medals will be provided this year.

*************     RULES    *************************:

1. Runner must stay to the left hand side of Main Street.

2. Runners must cross the timing mats at the N King Island TurnAround Location.

3. Runners must cross the timing mats at the  Board of Education Sidewalk TurnAround Location.

4. Times will be recorded at the 3.25 miles (Turn #1 - N King), 6.55 miles (Turn # 2) , 9.8 miles (Turn # 3 - N King), and Finish

5. Numbers must be clearly visible and secured with four pins to the front of the jersey.

6 Course Time Limit: 3 HOURS 45 MINUTES
