Soak Up the Florida Sunshine and Enjoy a 5K Run/Walk in the Beautiful Riverwood Golf Community on Saturday March 12, 2022 at this Dog- and Stroller-Friendly, Fund Raising Event in Support of Project Detect.

THE CAUSE: All proceeds from the 5K Run/Walk go to Project Detect, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization based in the Riverwood Community of Port Charlotte. Project Detect is managed entirely through the volunteer efforts of Riverwood residents.

Project Detect's mission is to raise funds to provide early-detection cancer screenings for uninsured and underinsured adults in Charlotte County.

All funds raised go to the Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic in Port Charlotte and the Englewood Community Care Clinic, along with other Port Charlotte facilities that could qualify for funding based on the charity's mission.

Day of 5K Run/Walk: Check-in and Registration begins at 7:00am and ends at 7:45am. 5K Run/Walk starts at 8:00am.

IMPORTANT!!!!! Please be there on the early-side as each car will have to go through Security when entering the community. 

Packet pick-up will be available in the Riverwood Golf Clubhouse for those who live within Riverwood on Friday, March 11. If you need your packet early and do not live in Riverwood, please contact the race director at 941-875-4687 to set up access to the security gate.

9 and under; 10-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+
