Calling All Superheros!!! (dress up as your favorite superhero, or run as yourself incognito...)

Sally’s YMCA and Relay For Life East Lincoln are hosting the 2nd annual Superhero 5K to raise funds and awareness for the mission of each organization.  Be assured this 5K will be well organized and leave you with an Awesome Race Experience. 

Come together with us to honor cancer survivors, spread the word about reducing cancer risk, and raise money to help save lives. It’s a great way to honor or remember those in our community that are affected daily by cancer. Sally’s YMCA and Relay For Life East Lincoln are joining forces for the Superhero 5k to make a difference in the East Lincoln community.  Who are you racing for?

 

Want to join the Superhero 5K, but have a small child that is unable to run?  Free child care with will be provided for children under 6 years of age.

With registration you will receive a performance event t-shirt,  medal , cape and goody bag.

Phantom Runner: Can't participate and would still like to support our event and get a cool race shirt? Consider being a PHANTOM RUNNER (No participation required, shirts may be picked up at Packet Pick up or on-site Race Day.)

Awards: Awards given to top female and male in age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and older. Everyone will receive a race day metal.

Packet Pick-up:  Friday, November 6 from 12 pm-7 pm @ Sally’s Y 1601 Forney Creek Pkwy Denver NC 28037

Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-up: at race venue between 7:30 am - 8:45 am.

VOLUNTEER

Signup as a volunteer if you are available to help before, DURING, and after the event, our volunteers help us to be Superhero’s to our racers.

In Memory / In Honor Signs:

We have 5x7 signs for sale that will be placed along the race route for $25.00.  The signs are in honor or memory of a loved one that has battled cancer.  You can take your sign home with after the Superhero 5K.
