                                   This is our 3rd Annual  5K/10K 

being held at the Port Charlotte Beach Park.

 

 

This year it does have a new name.

It's now the

 

Run For the Memories 5K/10K

(formally the Run Like A Bandit 5K/10K.)

 

It's still held at the Port Charlotte Beach Park.  Same great course.   Same great perks.  Still produced by My Favorite Race Events.

 

The proceeds from this race benefit the

Florida Compassion Foundation

and the

Sarasota Gulf Coast Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

 

This will be the Run for the Memories 5k/10k. It is being hosted by the Florida Compassion Foundation.  

 

All proceeds from the event benefit the Florida Compassion Foundation and the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

 

The Race is being produced and directed by My Favorite Race Events, LLC.

Race Directors are Tracy Hussey and Chris Fleeman

 

It is a 5k and  10k road race on all paved surfaces, with a $250 Overall Male/Female Prize for the 10k and $100 Overall Male/Female for the 5k.

 

Overall Youth Male/Female will have prizes as well.

Age group awards going 3 deep.

There will also be awards for all the Masters Categories.

There will be a custom finishers medal for every finisher of both races.

Each participant will also receive an Official Custom Race Shirt.

A Long sleeve for the 10k and a short sleeve for the 5k.

There will be HOT pancakes and bacon and ICE cold BEER at the after-party.

There will also be inflatables for the kids, Corn hole for the adults and music by DJ Justin of Party Pro DJ's.

You don't want to miss this awesome event for the entire family!

Runners, Walkers, Strollers, and Dogs on leashes are welcome! It's a great event supporting a very deserving charity!

Race Refund Policy

Your entry into this race is considered a Charitable Donation to the Florida Compassion Foundation.  You can cancel your registration online within 15 minutes of registering and receive a full refund.  After 15 minutes there are no refunds for any reason!   This race has a NO REFUND POLICY.  By registering, you are accepting and agreeing to this policy.
