The NKEF is proud to be holding the Strides for Schools this year back at Rosie’s Gaming Emporium/Colonial Downs. This will consist of several race opportunities to include the One Mile Apple Dash and the 5K Strides for Schools. The proceeds for the event will benefit the New Kent Educational Foundation and its various projects, such as: students scholarships, teacher grants, the theater department, homecoming events, and many other educational programs throughout the year.

The New Kent Educational Foundation (NKEF) channels community resources to promote and enhance educational opportunities for the students and staff of New Kent County Public Schools. The NKEF has provided grants to teachers in all four schools, scholarships to students, a technology resource library, a CPR day, and a variety of other special projects.

Packet Pick-up Information:

Participants may pick up their packets at Rosie's on Friday, April, 26th, from 6:30-8:30 pm or the morning of race.
