Description

The Hot-to-Trot 5K & 1 Mile is one of the featured events of the 2020 Horse Trading Days in Zelienople, PA. Horse Trading Days will be held July 16-18 and the race will begin at 8am on Saturday morning, July 18. Starting and finishing at the scenic Glade Run Lutheran Services campus, this is a very fun course which will be enjoyable to runners of all levels and age groups.

Prizes and awards will be given to top finishers in the following categories:

-Top Three Overall Male & Female

-Top Three Male & Female in Each Age Group

Immediately following the conclusion of the 5K, at roughly 8:45am, we wil begin the the 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk. This untimed run/walk will be great fun for just you or for the whole family.

The Tot-Trot, our 100m fun run geared at toddlers, will begin at the conclusion of the 1-Mile.

5K & 1-Mile participants will receive one of our unique HORSESHOE finisher medals while Tot-Trot participants will receive their own custom medal. Free Race T-Shirts are also included but can only be guaranteed for pre-registered participants!

Event details and schedule

Last-minute registration and packet pick-up will be held the day of the event. 

Participants will receive:

- Hot-to-Trot T-Shirt (must be registered by July 13 to be guaranteed a t-shirt)

- Finisher Medal

The 5K will begin promptly at 8am at Glade Run Lutheran Services. Registration and packet pick up will be available from 6:30 - 7:45am. Water and other refreshments will be provided post-race. Pre-Registration is available through this site for $30. Race Day registration is available on-site and is $35. T-Shirts and sizes are only guaranteed for those participants registered by July 13, 2020. Additional t-shirts may be available for those registered after July 13 but will be first-come, first-served and quantities and sizes cannot be guaranteed.

The 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk will start at 8:45am or immediately following the conclusion of the 5K, whichever is later. Strollers are welcome and registration is $20 for all ages. Children in strollers do not require a registration but T-Shirts and Finisher Medals will only be given to registered participants.

The Tot-Trot is open to participants aged 1-4, though a parent or guardian must accompany them on the course at all times. This race will begin immediately following the 1-Mile.
