Description

Come run through the country side of Eatonton Georgia at the Swamp Stomp 5K and Fun Run.  Don't worry, you will not be running through any swamps.

Virtual Option: Due to COVID-19 the Swamp Stomp is offering a Virtual Option this year. Entry Fee is $20.00, no shirt and no award. Times will be entered at the end of your respective age group for BBRS and CG points. Run anywhere between Sept 19 and Sept 27. Submit your time to http://tiny.cc/SwampStompTimes no later than 6:00pm on Sept 27

Event details and schedule

Race day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 1:30PM

Fun Run: Starts at 2:30PM

5K: Starts at 3PM

Awards: Given after the 5K. Overall and Masters male/female, overall Gatewood student male/female, overall Gatewood Alumnus male/female and top finishers in age groups beginning with 8 and under to 75 and over. Fun Run open to all ages.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 9/16/20.  Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Timing and Results: Finish line management provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservice.com, www.active.com, and www.athlinks.com

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2020 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
