Bring the whole family out to enjoy the Sunken Garden Trail on the South Shore of Lake Arthur. This timed race is good for both avid runners or walking nature-lovers, and a portion of the race proceeds benefit the Moraine State Park Regatta for the south shore stabilization project.

Celebrate Moraine! 

Awards will be given to the first place runner in each age category, male and female. Awards will be on the main stage at the regatta following the race, around 10AM. Age categories are:

• 18 and under


• 19-29


• 30-39


• 40-49


• 50-59


• 60-69


• 70+

The start and finish are at the same place at the trailhead. This route follows the long trail loop across Big Run Road and then joins the short trail loop before finishing with the Sunken Garden Trail along the lake.

Free t-shirt with registration, while supplies last! Shirts are slightly different each year, so we encourage you to collect them all! 

Check in and packet pickup begins at 8AM, and the race starts at 8:30AM. Parking is on site at the Non-Motorized Boat Launch and Sunken Garden Trailhead.
