Who will Cupcake for a Cause 5K run/walk benefit? Cupcake for a Cause 5K/Run/walk 2020 will benefit Back to Basics. Back to Basics is a small, all volunteer organization that makes a huge impact in the lives of well over 15,000 local children in need each year.  Their mission is to enable children to attend school with confidence  and be ready to learn by providing NEW uniforms, sneakers, socks and underwear.  They accomplish this through two simple programs: The Uniform Program which provides new school uniforms each year to children in over 60 elementary and middle schools in Palm Beach County. The Angel Program which provides NEW sneakers, socks, underwear and a toy each year during the holidays. Please consider bringing an unwrapped toy on race day for the Angel Tree program and be entered in a raffle to win some cool prizes. When selecting a toy please remember that for many of these children, this could be the only gift that they receive during the holidays.

Back to Basics depends on the generosity of churches, organizations, businesses and individuals in our community to sponsor children each year to provide these gifts.  For more information about Back to Basics, visit their website at www.BacktoBasicsInc.org or you can find them on Facebook @Back to Basics, Inc.
