Turkey Trail Trot and The Leftovers Race Information

Come take a walk, hike or run in the woods!  This event is for novice through experienced trail runners/hikers.  All distances are on wide and single track 100% DIRT trails. THIS IS NOT A ROAD RACE… The trails do include… LEAVES, ROCKS and ROOTS, so it is important to pay attention to your footing. There are twists and turns in addition to rolling to steep hills that will challenge you along the way.  Experience a Thanksgiving tradition like no other!  And then come back for The Leftovers Races!

BRING YOUR FLOCK FOR MORE FUN AND PIE!

Sign up for the race and create a team during the registration process.  Have your friends and family join your team!  Flocks with 6 or more members registered by November 24th will receive a pie at packet pick up!  Limit 1 pie per group.  

Please note:

• 3.0 Hour Time Limit for all distances, Half Marathon runners must be through the half way split by 9:20 AM to continue on course.  Slower pace will result in being routed to the finish line.
• No strollers or dogs allowed on course
• Children welcome with Parent/Guardian permission and/or accompanied by adult depending on your child’s ability

BOTH DAYS DIVISION WILL RECEIVE A PREMIUM LONG SLEEVE EVENT SHIRT, CUSTOM EVENT GLOVES  AND UNIQUE MEDAL EACH DAY THAT WILL FIT TOGETHER AND LOOK SPIFFY IN YOUR RUNNERS SWAG DISPLAY AREA!

RACE DAY MEETING - Please assemble at the start line 10 minutes before race start time

WHAT IF I NEED TO SWITCH MY DISTANCE?

Runners can switch down to a shorter distance up until Wednesday November 26 at 6:00 pm.  Go to your Runsignup profile and select Turkey Trail Trot + TLOR.  Click Manage Registration, Switch Events  and save your choice.  If you switch to a lower or same cost event there is no transfer fee.  If you switch to a higher cost there will be an additional amount due.  Save your switch. **PLEASE MAKE ANY SWITCHES PRIOR TO PICKING UP YOUR RACE BIB!  Race bibs are unique to the race distance and will help our volunteers direct runners on course.

AWARDS FOR ALL DISTANCES

**AWARDS CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE AWARDS TENT (REGISTRATION TENT) AS SOON AS RESULTS ARE MARKED OFFICIAL (Awards will not be mailed.  Please check with the results tent prior to leaving the area if you are an award winner)

EARLY PACKET PICK-UP

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25      11:30 - 6:00 PM        Hanson’s Running Shop, 8409 Hall Rd, Utica

PARK PASS - Stony Creek Metropark requires vehicles to have a metropark pass.  Daily park passes are $10.  No fee will be charged on Thanksgiving day.  Yearly or daily passes will be available for purchase at the park gates on Friday

WHAT IS "CUPLESS RACING"? - This race will USE CUPLESS RACING which means you WILL NEED TO carry your own personal hydration system or reusable cup to refill at the aid stations. You can use the Hydrapak cup at this race as well as other events and your own training, hiking, concert going etc.  One Hydrapak cup will be included in your registration fee, make sure to bring it with you on race morning!

Stony Creek Metropark

A portion of your registration fee goes to Stony Creek Metorpark for trail maintenance.
