In the interest of COVID-10 safety concerns, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival is posponing the Mimosa 5K. We will announce new dates as soon as we are able to safely hold the race

 

On Saturday, August 8, 2020, revelers and runners can start the day with the Atlanta Dogwood Festival Mimosa 5K. The race is part of this year's 84th anniversary celebration. Although this is the 3rd oldest fine arts festival in the country it is the 5th year of the race. The scenic course through historic Midtown culminates in a champagne and orange juice - "Mimosa" celebration in the park directly after the race. Make sure you bring a photo ID, since alcohol will be served only to runners 21 and older.

 

Following the Mimosa 5k, at 9:00 am we will have the "Mini-Mosa" for children 8 and under down in the meadow around the amusement rides.  Entry fee is only $15.

 

Event details and schedule

Race packets will be available for pick up at Phidippides Running Store (http://www.phidippides.com/) at Ansley Mall from Saturday, April 11 through Wednesday, April 15 (yes tax day).

Online registration closes on Wednesday, April 15 at 6:00 P.M. Limited registration will be available on race day morning.

7:00 am packet pick up on race day at Piedmont Park. 

8:00 am start.  MiniMosa for children 8 and under begins at 9:00 am.
