JOIN US for our 9th Annual "Dallas 5K Race for a Cure" on Saturday, September 12th @ 8:00am.  

ALSO INCLUDING A SOCIAL DISTANCE START LINE.

RUNNING ON-SITE: you will be required to enter your estimated finish time when registering.  This will provide an appropriate placement and approximate start time for your start of the race.  This will enable us to comply with social distancing guidelines for grouping during a transitory event (social distancing does not apply to co-habitating OR persons, family units, roommates residing together).  Further details will be provided as we get closer to the event.   

 

RUNNING VIRTUAL: you will have the opportunity to run on your own between September 11th and September 13th.  To be included in the VIRTUAL RESULTS, participants must submit proof of finish time on race registration website by September 13th @ 11:59pm.  Once all times are approved results will be posted.  The cost of the virtual race includes a Tshirt and custom bib.

All proceeds go to Paulding County, Relay for Life and The American Cancer Society.

Race is CHIP TIMED and a Peachtree Road Race qualifer - Certification #GA15038WC

Event details and schedule

EVENT TIME:  

5K - 8:00am sharp!

COST: 

5K - Ages 11 & up $20 until August 28 @ 11:59pm

       Ages 10 & under $15 until August 28 @ 11:59pm

Virtual 5K - $30

Children 10 & under are welcome to run the race for free, however they will not receive a race bib, goodie bag or race shirt unless they are registered.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN:

Early Registration and bag pick up will be at the Downtown Courtyard (120 Main St) on Friday, September 11th from 4-7pm and @ 6:45am on race day.

LOCATION:

Main Street - Downtown Dallas - Start/Finish line @ 120 Main St. , Dallas, GA 30132 (Dallas Police Department)

PACKET PICK-UP:

Each participant will receive a goodie bag containing a race day shirt. Water and snacks will be provided the morning of the race. Please make sure you have registration & packet pick-up completed by 7:30am. 

TSHIRTS:

Participants registered by August 28th will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Racers registered after August 28th and on race day will receive t-shirts as supplies last.

AWARDS:  (no ceremony following the race, will be done virtually)

Overall Male/Female, Overall Masters Male/Female, Age Groups:10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 66-70 and 70+.

Timing will be posted on active.com and award winners will be contacted at later date for pickup.
