Description

Come "Run Your Arts Off" at the 3rd Annual Run Berea 13.1 & 5K on the scenic paved trail through the city.

The race will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 with an 8:00am start from The Berea Pinnacles and will highlight all that is special about Berea, The Folk Arts and Crafts Capital of Kentucky.   Runners/walkers will enjoy a scenic, paved route on the Berea City Trail.

RACE FEATURES

• Half Marathon Run (16 minute/mile pace limit; 3 hour 30 minute max) and 5K Run/Walk
• Commemorative performance T-shirts
• Overall Top 3 M/F & Top 2 M/F in 10 Year Age Group Awards (Half Marathon), Overall Top 3 M/F & Top 2 M/F in 10 Year Age Group Awards (5K)
• Age groups (0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
• Finishers' Medals for both races
• Free Race Photos (Thanks Ruby Cline-Eaton)
• Scenic and relatively flat course on the paved city trail that runs through Berea
• Race Pacers (Thanks, ForWord Running/Pacing) for the 13.1
• Virtual Runner/Walker opportunity ($50.00 registration/donation - We ship commemorative shirt, bib, and finisher's medal.)

Our race will benefit programs championed by the Berea Police Association including their very popular Christmas with a Cop.

PACKET PICKUP   Packet pickup plans will be announced closer to the race.  There will also be a last chance packet pickup on race morning (Saturday) from 6:45-7:45am at The Berea Pinnacles.
