Description

We started the Tyson tough race to originally raise money for Tyson Waid as he was battling a rare and incurable childhood cancer known as DIPG. When Tyson earned his wings on Decemeber 24th 2020, we changed the race proceeds to go into a scholarship fund to honor his legacy. Every year, we will select a student to receive the Tyson Waid Memorial Scholarship fund. Please come out to walk or run at Greenback school in his honor. The date is set for May 3, 2025.

No child should have to fight cancer.
Tyson fought a courageous battle and we will do everything in our power to honor his legacy and help find a cure for DIPG. Please come out to Greenback school on May 3, 2025 to run or walk for him.
