Description

The last Saturday in July! Our favorite 5K of the year! The Trak Shak Retro Run 5K is ready for 2024! Race through the beautiful streets of Homewood, and enjoy great food from Oak Hill Bar & Grill, ice cold beverages  and some old school tunes outside on "The Curb"! Your entry fee gets you a bib, a tee, and a beer/food ticket. 

The infamous costume contest will be after the run. The winner gets $100 CASH! Participants in the costume contest must run the 5K, are randomly selected, and will be summoned to the stage after the race! Retro could be anything you consider it to be, so impress us with YOUR retro!

Friday, July 25 - 11 to 5 PM at The Trak Shak Homewood

Saturday, July 26 - 4 to 6:50 PM at The Trak Shak Homewood

Race Day: 

Race Starts at 7 PM directly in front of The Trak Shak! Here's the Course.

There will be one water stop on Manhattan St. participants will go by twice, hosted and entertained by the Birmingham Track Club. 

All Birmingham Track Club members get 20% off their registration!

1st Place Masters Male & Female (40 & Over) - $50 Cash

4:00 - Registration and packet pick up starts

6:45 - EW Motion Therapy Warm Up

7:00 - Race Starts

7:30 - Food Service Starts (menu from Oak Hill Bar & Grill)

8:00 - Awards ceremony starts.

8:10 - Costume contest

8:30 til ? - Music and Drinks
