Description

The City of Rockville, in partnership with the Montgomery County Road Runners Club (MCRRC), welcomes all to participate in this fall running tradition. The 10K and 5K run along the streets of the King Farm community for a scenic and challenging, yet rewarding, course. It is an ideal venue to cap off your summer/fall training and kick off the upcoming winter running season. Participants of all abilities are welcome, but please note that a 15:00 min/mile pace will be enforced due to permitting requirements and the re-opening of roads. Participants who fall behind a 15:00 min/ mile pace will be moved to the sidewalk. Walkers are encouraged to participate in the 5K distance due to the road closure restrictions. Strollers are permitted - we ask that anyone pushing a stroller seed themselves in the back of the field at the start of the race they are running. Dogs and all other pets are NOT pemritted on the course. 

Daylight Saving Time ends on November 2nd. Do not forget to set you clocks back one hour the night before the race!

Race Day Schedule:

• 7:15 AM - Race Day Packet Pickup & Registration opens
• 8:00 AM - Road Closures go into effect
• 8:00 AM - Bag Check opens
• 8:10 AM - Kids One-Mile Fun Run (corner of Redland Blvd. and Pleasant Dr.)
• 8:30 AM - 10K Start
• 8:45 AM - 5K Start
• 10:15 AM - Bag Check closes.

Road closures are in effect at 8:00 AM
