Sisters Network Dallas Inc., 6000 Sisters, 6000 Steps for Hope, Breast Cancer Walk and Health Expo, "It's not just Pink it's personal" spotlights the 6,000 African American women who lose their fight with breast cancer in the United States each year. This event is a celebration of life for friends and family who are breast cancer survivors, an opportunity to remember loved ones lost to breast cancer, a chance to enjoy a fun healthy 3 mile (untimed) walk (approx. 6000 steps), and an opportunity to visit with healthcare and healthy living exhibitors.


Proceeds from the walk support Sisters Network Dallas Inc. programs providing survivor support, screenings and breast health education in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.


No pets allowed at the event


 


Fees: Adult $30, Price increases to $35 after Aug 8th


          Student (12-18) $20, Price increases to $25 after Aug 8th 


                    Note: Registration is for ages 12 yrs and older. Children 11 yrs and younger do not need to register


          In Honor/In Memory Signs $25 - special keepsake tributes; purchase by September 3rd during registration or using the In Honor/In Memory menu option


 


*** Fundraising donations received by Friday, September 26th, 9:00am will count toward individual and team awards ***


  • One prize will be awarded to the Top Fundraising Individual. The individual that raise the most by Friday, Sep 26th, 9 am will receive a special gift!
  • The Top Fundraising Team will also be recognized
