Ok runners/walkers, rise and shine, and don’t forget your running shoes and mittens, cause it’s cold out there. We’ll be anxiously awaiting the news for Groundhog Day, to see if the cute fuzzy Punxsatawney Phil brings us an early spring! And to keep the year moving ahead, this year marks the 15th annual Rahr & Sons Oktoberfest 5K, set for September 14, 2024. We’ll be kicking off this celebration at the Rahr & Sons Running Club monthly social run with a special one-day registration offer! You must be present to score the deal, so join up. Prost!

SOCIAL RUN REGISTRATION & TICKET PRICING: Purchase tickets for $30 online. Social Run Includes:3ish mile, self-guided run/walk (untimed) with bottled water at the start/finish, three (3) free draft brew samples (must be 21+), custom pint glass and hot breakfast!! 

SOCIAL RUN SCHEDULE: Check in opens at 8:00am and the group start is at 8:30am. If you miss the group start at 8:30am, you can still check in and run/walk, check in closes at 9:00am. 

• 8 - 9 AM: Check in for the social run/walk


• 8:30 AM: “Group” Start (run with the group and awesome beer pacers!)


• 9:30 AM: Breakfast available via the Holy Frijole food truck and post social run fun in the brewery


• 10:30 AM: Each month we’ll have games and/or a raffle with a chance to score some fun stuff, must be present to play and/or win.


• 11:00 AM: Last call


• 11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends and brewery closes

SOCIAL RUN/WALK NOTES & TIPS:

• All levels and paces are welcome. This event is untimed & always an awesome time! We are always rain or shine!


• We are cashless and paperless; all registrations are done online.


• Dogs are allowed at Rahr Brewing. Dogs must have tags, be on a leash and are only allowed in outside, in communal areas. We hope to you see you and your pups soon!


• Sign up online for $30, no refunds or transfers, once you are registered, you are registered!


• Bring your ID!


• Kids in strollers are always welcome and are always free.
