Chunky Monkey Epilepsy Run

The Chunky Monkey Epilepsy Run features a Half Marathon, 5K (In-Person & Virtual), and a kid's run.  

Registration is open online until Nov. 3rd at Midnight, register before Oct. 14th to guarantee a shirt.  We will stop collecting shirt sizes after the 14th.

Blanket Drive

Our mission is to provide comfort to families at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the American Family Children's Hospital every year. This year, our goal is to bring comfort to 200 families, and we appreciate the compassion you have shown toward this cause.

Events

Half Marathon

Start Times: 9:00 AM

This will be the 5th year for the Half Marathon event! If you love hills, this half marathon is for you!  Enjoy a hilly, scenic, challenging (did we say, hilly), and beautiful 13.1 mile course. Be ready for HILLS--seriously!   The time limit for the Half Marathon will be 3 1/2 Hours.  Approximately 16-minute miles
There will be water/Gatorade stations @ miles 2, 4.5,  7, and 10 &11.   Portable Restroom: 3.5 & 6.5/7.5

Kid's Run

Start Time: 9:30 AM

Diaper Dash
Children 0- 2 year old:  Race will take place on the 9th Fairway. Distance is approximately 25 feet.

100 Meter Dash
3-4 year olds: Race will take place on the 9th Fairway following the 25 M Dash.
5-7 year olds: Race will take place on the 9th Fairway following the 3-4 year olds.

400 Meter Dash
8-10 year olds: Race will take place on the 9th Fairway following the 100 M Dash.

5K Run/Walk

Start Time:  10:00 a.m.

Follow the ranger around this delightful 3.1 mile course.
There will be no water stations this year, please bring your own water.
  
 

5K Virtual Run/Walk

Start Time:  Anytime during the week of  October 31-November 4, 2023

This is a new event for those not able to attend the actual race, but still lend your support.   You can find your own 5K course and time yourself.  Afterward, you submit your time on the race results website to share with others.     Times will be processed into standings with other virtual run participants.   No awards will be sent.

Awards

No awards ceremony. Check at the designated table set up with times and the volunteer will hand you your medal if you place. 

Half Marathon Medals will be set on a table for you after you finish the course.
