Every year since the 1980s, the AdventHealth Silver Classic 5k Run 3K Walk draws crowds from across central Texas. Seventh-day Adventist pastor Ernest Dobkins organized the run/walk. The name “Silver Classic” comes from the fact that runners who would place first received ounces of silver as a reward. 

Today Silver Classic serves as the primary fundraiser for AdventHealth’s Wellness Department. Proceeds from the race promote wellness in the community through free services and educational classes. Participants of the Silver Classic race are chip-timed and placed in gender groups based on age.

NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION AVAILABLE | Registration closes Saturday March 22 at 11:59 PM CST.

Early Registration fee of $30 ends March 7 at 11:59 PM CST, and after the registration fee will increase to $40.
