The 10th Annual Spooky Sprint 5k at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019!  There will be a 1/2-Mile Fun Run (two laps around the track) immediately following the 5k!

100% of your entry fee will go to our youth programs, making a difference in the lives of children in our community.  The Service Above Self Awards recognize our youth ages 5 to 18 for their service to others.  Every year, Rowan Rotary sponsors students form our local high schools to attend a leadership-training event.

5K Registration Fee: $25 (mail-in through October 17 and online through October 19)
                                      $30 (on-site on October 20)

Fun Run Registration Fee:  $10

Awards (5k):  Top 3 overall male and female. 

1st place overall male and female masters (age 40 or above). 

Medals will be given to the top 3 in each of the following divisions for male and female runners:  9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75 & over.   

Overall winners not eligible for age group awards.  Awards will not be mailed.

Awards (Fun Run):  Top 3 overall male and female runners.  All fun run participants will receive a medal.

T-shirts – 5k run/walk participants receive a long sleeve Dri-Fit Technical T-shirt.

Check-In:  12:00 - 1:30 p.m. check-in and race packet pick up at the registration desk in Catawba College Stadium.

Costume Contest:  Contest for best costumes, children and adults, judged by a panel of Rotarians.  Adult winner will receive a $50 gift card.  Children will receive prizes for 1st and 2nd place.

Inclement Weather Policy:  In case of inclement weather, the race may be delayed for one hour.  We reserve the right to cancel any portion of the race if we determine existing weather conditions pose a safety hazard for the participants.
