Founded by Joseph Cerniglia, Jr. of Springfield, VT, and after achieving revered heights through athletic achievements, 7 time Ironman finisher, Ironman World Championship in Kailua Kona Hawaii, multiple Boston Marathon Qualifier, Joseph a USAT certified endurance coach decided it was time to give back to the community he hails from that has given him so much.
The Purpose of the Annual Springfield Road Race and Fun Run is, in addition to promoting an active, healthy lifestyle, a way for family and friends to get together and be a part of their local community.

What time does it start?
The Fun Run starts at 8:30am and the Race/Walk starts at 9:00am.
How far is the fun run?
One-Half (1/2) Mile Long.
How far is the race/walk?
Four (4) Miles Long.
