Join Women in Leadership of Central Illinois for
Race to EmpowHER 5K Run or 1 Mile Walk

WIL is so excited to host our 3rd run/walk event to support scholarships for local women in our Greater Peoria! Absolutely everyone is welcome and encouraged to run or walk with the crew! The event is rain or shine with no refunds. If there is an extreme case, please reach out to the race director.

You can go hard for bragging rights as the Top Female/Top Male or 1st place in your age bracket. You can also just have fun and meet new people. Your event your way! We will have a special award for Top Female/Top Male, and we anticipate a sweet surprise for top age bracket winners. There are revised aged brackets this year too as requested!

New this year, products will be offered for direct purchase from the local WBE, A Cheep Tee. Diverse product options are available with everything from hoodies to puppy bandanas and koozies. You pick the color. Just remember the race logo colors are black & burgundy. The van will be on-site, but you can also go to the store to order in advance and wear at the event! We will get a mockup done and post a picture of the hoodie. Let's rock out our RTE gear this year!

Medals at the finish line are prioritized for those who register by the end of February. On-site registration will be allowed with no guarantee for medal, product, or event bag. The 5K event is chip timed. We kindly request that you come early for on-site registration to ensure the event can start promptly at 8:00 a.m. Side note, we sadly cannot have four legged race event participants. You can still pick up a cute bandana for your loved one though.
