Description

The 4th Annual Run For The Son 5K sponsored by Greater New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, takes place in the beautiful North West Georgia city of Cartersville, GA in the scenic and beautiful Sam Smith Park during the genesis of autumn. It starts in the cool of the morning and is completed well before the Georgia heat could ever become a hazard. The course is very easy to follow and aesthetically pleasing to experience in the Douthit Ferry Rd community. This race has been a catalyst for bringing the community together in great fun and fellowship. The only thing missing from this fun and fabulous 5K is you! Run For The Son 5K is the race to run!  The race has been growing in attendance every year, so register early to ensure your spot! ----- Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. -Hebrews 12:1
