REGISTRATIONS CLOSE WEDNESDAY NOVEMEBER 1

 

 

Why? Because of the nature of the event, we'll try to form Teams from registered participants in advance of race day. Please be patient. This is a volunteer-driven event. 

 

Our Event

 

During the First Annual Kickball Classic, teams of 10 will be kickin' for a cause in support of Girls on the Run Palm Beach.

Like in those fun, pick-up kickball games you may have had as a kid, all are welcome to play! Whether you haven't played kickball since grammar school or you're an experienced player, come on out and have some fun!  

 

Beautiful Robert P. Miller Park is home to little league fields, regulation baseball fields, four batting cages, restrooms, a pavilion, and a playground area.

 

Event will take place rain or shine! 

 

Prize categories will be available soon. This is a fun event, intended for amusement, enjoyment and laughter and to be as inclusive as possible, like a pick-up game. You can keep score of your game and revel in your accomplishments, but prizes will not be based on the scores of games. Like a pick-up game, there won't be brackets. 

 

 

 

When you choose either of the Team registration categories, the Team Captain pays for ALL players upon registration. Then the Captain will be able to send out emails to invite people to play on the Team -- right from the registration platform. Player registrations will be on a first-come, first served basis. For example, the Team Captain for a Team of 10 invites 18 people to potentially play on the team. The first 10 people to sign up will be on the team and then the team will close. That team will be full and no additional players can be added to it.

 

If more people want to play, they can either get another team together, using the two team categories, or sign-up using the individual categories.  But they will not be able to join a team that's already full. 

 

 

 

NO EVENT DAY REGISTRATIONS. 

 

 

 

Changes may be made to registrations up until October 30.  After October 30, no changes for any reason. 

 

 

 

Because this is a fundraiser which supports the many deserving girls in our community, no refunds for any reason from the Event, Girls on the Run, or its organizers. 

 

 

 

Please note: Active.com will offer you the opportunity in your check out page to "make your registration refundable via ACTIVE Refund."  If you choose to pay the fee to Active.com, you would receive a refund from Active.com, NOT from this event, Girls on the Run Palm Beach or its organizers. You would contact active.com directly. This fee is completely OPTIONAL and not required to participate in the event. 

 

 

 

Active.com is allowing the event to be listed on their site.  As such, Active.com may make offers to you during registration, such as joining Active Advantage, or purchasing magazines, and other promotions for $$ off your registration. All are completely optional. NONE of these promotions support this event in any way.

Parking in and around the fields is available. 

Wear attire suitable for play and weather.

Our event will be assigned specific fields for play by Delray Beach's Park and Rec Dept. 

Each team will be assigned a field. Opposing team will be randomly assigned. 

Check-in event day to find your field.

Play will be for 7 innings or 45 minutes, whichever comes first. 

Standard kickball rules apply (You remember them, right? 3 outs per team per inning, 3 strikes is 1 out, 3 foul balls are a strike, tie goes to the runner, make it back to home plate is a run, etc.)

Hey, we're having FUN out here! Foul language, negative yelling, abusive behavior, hitting a person or other forms of assault will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the park.
