RAIN OR SHINE
Join the Human Growth Foundation (HGF) in collaboration with the Nicklaus Children's Hospital - and be part of a GROWing solution! Participating in the 13th Annual 5K Run & Walk for Kids' Growth will help increase awareness of childhood growth disorders and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. This event will also raise much-needed funds to give underserved children with rare growth disorders access to care and treatment.
All ages and all walks of life are encouraged to participate.
Each registered participant receives a Finisher Medal, event tee shirt, food, and refreshments.

5K Run/Walk Starts
The awards ceremony will follow after all run/walk participants return.
Live Entertainment, Food, and Refreshments will be available throughout the event.
Raffle prizes, display booths, and giveaways will be distributed throughout the event.

Event Ends
TIMING
The event will be timed (conventional timing), and the course is paved.
HEAT WARNING
Temperature/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluids(non-alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during and upon finishing the race. Beware of heat-injury symptoms (Dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech and thoughts). Seek immediate assistance if symptoms occur. Wear loose, light-colored clothing.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Race Management reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event due to events out of Management’s control, such as a natural disaster or other emergencies. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. Management may also alter the course and distances for the safety of the athletes.
