The 9th annual Gallatin Shamrock Run takes place in Historic Downtown Gallatin, Tennessee on Sturday, March 11, 2023. It starts at the Gallatin City Hall and winds through beautiful downtown Gallatin. This primarily flat course is great for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The 10K participants will run the 5K course twice and have 90 minutes to complete the race. Participants in the 5K will be grouped by estimated completion time and have 60 minutes to finish. Participants are encouraged to dress up in their most creative St. Patrick’s Day attire and to enjoy the festivities at the start / end of the race. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers male and female, and awards will be given for the best St. Patrick's Day costume and the most team spirit.
Proceeds from the Race go to the Gallatin Chamber Foundation. The Gallatin Chamber Foundation is the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce’s 501(c)3 component that exists to encourage, promote, and support innovative enhancement projects and creative initiatives within the City of Gallatin.
Gallatin Shamrock Run 5k & 10k
Date of the Event: Saturday, March 11, 2023
Location: Gallatin City Hall, 132 W Main Street, Gallatin, Tennessee*
Registration the morning of the race: Registration, the morning of the event, will open at 6:15 am. The 10K race will start promptly at 7:15 am with the 5K run/walk kicking off at 7:30 am. Roads will close at 7:00 am in and around the racecourse.
10K 7:00 AM – Corral Opens 7:15 AM Start Time
5K 7:20 AM Corral Opens 7:30 AM Start Time
All Participants must complete the race by 9:00 AM.

Should changes occur to this event, you will be notified of the change via email as soon as possible. No refunds will be issued as the event will become a VIRTUAL RACE should the need arise. What is a virtual race? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, job, or walk on the road, on a trail, on the treadmill, at the gym, or on the track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time yourself. Once you complete your run (or walk) and register your completion (information will be provided on this procedure), your medal and shirt (if applicable) will be shipped directly to you.
