Running with Wings is a 5k that brings runners, families and the community together to honor those we have lost while celebrating the strength of their survivors.
 
This race is raising funds and awareness for Widows with Wings, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. After losing her husband Rob to a plane crash in November 2021, Briana Prestininzi founded Widows with Wings to support widows and widowers in the early days and months of grief. Widows with Wings also works to educate partners in preparing for unexpected death and illness so that survivors have a strong foundation as they rebuild their lives.
 
Join us at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 5 at the Fish Market (corner of Springmaid Avenue and Market Street; 990 Market Street, Fort Mill, SC 29708) in Baxter Village. Run, walk or stroll through Baxter in the fall, celebrating the gift of life with loved ones and friends.
 
We ask that our four-legged furry friends stay safe at home.

T-shirt and Bib Pick-up

• T-shirts are only guaranteed for registrations prior to October 5.


• Race packets, including your shirt and bib, are available November 4, 5-8 p.m. at Killingtons in Baxter Village (940 Market Street, Fort Mill, SC 29708).

Registration

• Race fees will increase to $30 after October 5.


• Walk-up participants are welcome but not guaranteed a shirt or race bib.
