After being on a Hiatus for a few years, Run Boulder Events is pleased to be able to bring you a Superior tradition, The Superior Mile on July 4th! This year's race is even more special as all proceeds will go to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund! Also, all residents of Superior will be able to participate in the race for free! We love the fact of bringing the community together for some healing, but also to look to the future. We are stronger together!Challenge yourself and your personal record at the 2022 Superior Mile. T-shirts will be given out on a first come first served basis to the first 250 picking up bibs. All children registering that are 12 and under will receive a cotton kid's sized t-shirt. Adults will receive an adult T shirt with both men's and women's sizing.Following the Superior mile, we will also be putting on the Niwot Mile at 8:30 am in Niwot Co , and again this will be a fundraiser for the Boulder County Wildfire Fund!Run both races and get a 20% discount. Two fun races, one great cause!We wanted to recognize all those residents of Superior for their resilience, fortitude , and inspiration. All residents will be able to sign up for free for this year's race. It's pretty simple:Starting Memorial day weekend, all residents of Superior, Colorado can sign up at In Motion Running in Boulder for free. All that is needed is your ID. Fill out the paper forms and show your ID to any if the staff members to verify. Just as easy as that. This cannot be done online. You will have till June 30th to sign up. Packet pickup will also be at In Motion on July 3rd from 11am to 4pm. You can also pick up your packet on race day starting at 5:45am. Shirt sizes aren't guaranteed on race day.
