Who’s ready to hit the pavement with their soles to improve their soul!

The Mississippi Sole II Soul 5K & Superhero1 Mile Fun Run is an event to get out and get moving with friends and family
while improving your health and well-being, and supporting a wonderful non-profit foundation,
Jackson Leadership Foundation. Jackson Leadership Foundation partners with leaders, churches,
and mission-minded organizations in the Jackson area to provide needed services and resources to
help make a difference in the inner-city communities.

We are so excited that the kids can join us for the Superhero 1 Mile Fun Run. The Superhero Fun Run is a family-friendly event, where we want all the kids along with their parents, family and friends that will be running with them -- to come out and wear their favorite superhero custom. Suit up in whatever suits you, whether it's your favorite superhero or villain costume; we promise we will not reveal your identify.

Come on out and join us in all the race activities, which will be held at the Mississippi Trade Mart on July 16, 2022. At this race you will start with the soles of your feet as you go along the route of the race, while nourishing your SOULS and improving your health and well-being by being physically active as you run or walk along the beautiful scenic route of the downtown Jackson. 

We will have some great medals/trophies for the top finishers. Snacks, food, and refreshments will be provided by some of our wonderful sponsors, and we will have some great give-a-ways from our partners and sponsors. Additionally, we will have a wonderful DJ to play music as you wind down for the awards ceremony. Come out and experience this new fun event, where your SOUL will benefit, and it is for a great cause.

In addition to the race, the NPC Mississippi Bodybuilding Championships will occur immediately after the race at 9:00 a.m. All registered runners and walkers will receive 1 FREE admission to see EITHER the Men's OR Women's bodybuilding competition. The Men's prejudging and finals are at 9:00 a.m. and the Women's prejudging and finals will be at 2:00 p.m.

Medals for 5k run 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers

Medals for top 3 male and female finishers in 10 year age groups
