Description

This is a Chip timed 8K event that participants can run or walk on the 4th of July on the historic Yorktown Battlefield Tour Road. Celebrate Independence on the best 8K running/walking course on the Peninsula! Race  participants will park and gather near the York High School tennis courts ( 9300 George Washington Memorial Highway, Yorktown, VA 23692)  and will be led to the start line by Fife and Drummers.  Race Day packet pick up only! 7AM-8:30 AM.

The 8K race starts at 8 AM. The 5K Fun Run starts at 8:30 AM

All 8K participants receive a custom race T and the first 600 to register receive a beautiful custom die cast commemorative medal.  Awards for the top three overall men and women.
All 5K Fun Run participants receive a finisher coin and a custom race T while supplies last.  The 5K Run walk is not a timed event.

Refreshments and post race celebration after your finish.
