We invite you to participate in Passavant Hospital Foundation's 10th Annual 4K and 8K Run/Walk on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 7PM. This year, we are introducing a virtual race that will take place starting Monday, August 1st through Wednesday, August 31st, 2022. 

Passavant Hospital Foundation is Excited to Announce a First Ever Kid's Race that will take place on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Pie Traynor Field!

In Person Race Details

On Friday, August 12th at the North Park Pool Loop, the starting line will be by the Harmar Pavilion near Pie Traynor Field.
You will need to be arrive no later than 5:45PM before the Allegheny County Police shut down the road.
The race will start promptly at 7:00PM.

All participants will receive a FREE T-Shirt and race bib (your number).

In Person Kid's Race Details

On Friday, August 12th at North Park - Pie Traynor Field, the Foundation will be hosting the FIRST EVER Kid's Race for Ages 15 Months to 10 Year's Old! Race will begin promptly at 5:45PM and finish by 6:20PM to allow those who are participating in the 4K or 8K race to get to the starting line. 

Distances for the Kid's Race

- 50 Yard Dash (Ages 15 months to 4 Year's Old)
- 1/4 Mile Yard Dash (5 Year's Old to 10 Year's Old) 
- 1/2 Mile Yard Dash (5 Year's Old to 10 Year's Old) 

Requirements:
- Child must walk/run unassisted. 
- A parent MUST walk near the child in 50 Yard dash
- For those who will not have a parent next to them in the race, they must wait at the end of the finish line for their kid.
- We will have an identifier for each child and parent to wear to match. 

Virtual Race Details

You have from Monday, August 1st through Wednesday, August 31st at Midnight to complete the 4K or 8K Race on ANY COURSE YOU LIKE. If you choose to do the virtual event, you will receive a FREE T-Shirt, your race bib (your number) and a finish line sign to take a fun photo to show us you completed your race! 

Pricing for Each Race

• In Person 4K and 8K: $25.00


• Virtual 4K and 8K: $20.00


• Kid's Race: $10.00

Registration Packet Pick Up and Mailing Procedures
Starting Monday, August 1st, every day at Passavant Hospital Foundation from 9:00AM to 4:00PM you can pick up your registration packet.

Pre-Scheduled Days for a Late Pick Up Day until 7:00PM and an Early Pick Up Morning starting at 7:30AM will be scheduled. We will notify all participants when those dates and times are by email.

If you choose to have your registration packet mailed, we will mail a couple times a week to make sure you have your packet.

There is a $6 Coverage Fee to have your packet mailed. 

Award Categories

If you participant in person, your race bib is tracked during the race. If you are virtual, going off the honor system we ask you submit your time to Amanda Posa at [email protected].
