After 3 years of planning and collaborating with community partners and school PTA, were able have our inaugural race in 2022.  We are kicking of 2023 with our 2nd Annual PTA sponsored  5k race.

The intent of this community initiative is to raise funds to develop different programs and activities such as the running club, we are looking to add canopies to the basketball courts and possibly develop a sister program to the students running club to include parents.

Our title 1 students and their families do not often have opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities.

We are trying to bring to Engelwood a program to help enrich physical and mental health.
