Description

The Karen P. Nakon Breast Cancer Foundation’s 18^th annual family-friendly 5k run/walk, the Turkey Dash, is being held on Thanksgiving morning Avon High School, Avon Ohio. 

 

Over 1500 runners, walkers and spectators join together to move in support of financial aid for breast cancer survivors right here in Northeast and Northwest Ohio. 

 

Register by November 15, 2021 to be guaranteed to receive a Turkey Dash race shirt, and pumpkin pie, coffee, hot chocolate, water and fruit are available at the finish line for all participants.

 

Awards are given to top 3 male and female winners along with medals for top 3 finishers in each age bracket (9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24,… 75-79, 80+.) 

 

The annual Turkey Dash is a great family-friendly tradition to give thanks for your own health and support the health of others; and you are home in plenty of time to baste the turkey.

 

Over the last 17 years, the Turkey Dash has raised over $380,000 for our mission.

Race starts and ends at Avon High School- 37545 Detroit Road, Avon, OH 44011

Packet pick up Wed November 24^th from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at Avon High School or on race day starting at 7:30 a.m. Race starts promptly at 9:00 a.m.

All cars must enter Avon High School off Detroit Road. Plenty of free parking.

Strollers and friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.
