• The 5K, which is chip-timed, begins at 8:00 a.m. and is a USATF Certified Course. Starting in picturesque downtown Jasper, GA,the mostly flat, out-and-back course is "famous" for its downhill finish. The 1-mile Fun Run begins immediately following the 5K.

• All participants receive a long-sleeved t-shirt. Awards for the 5K will be given for top M/F Overall, top M/F Master Overall, top M/F Grandmaster Overall, and top 3 in each age group (9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, ... 75-79, 80+). 1-mile Fun Run walkers and runners will be recognized for their participation as they cross the finish line. Snacks and water are provided post-race and at the awards ceremony.

• The registration fee for either race, ages 15 and up, is $25 on or before 9/27/2021 and $30 after 9/27/2021. The fee for participants 14 & under is $15, either race, any time.

• This annual race is sponsored by Jasper United Methodist Women and proceeds benefit ministries and organizations serving women and children in our local Pickens County community. Whether you are a runner or walker, in either event, your steps make a big difference.
