The Horace Mann Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is hosting a 5K and 1-mile Fun Run May 22 and 23. We’re excited for a virtual (and in-person for those who choose) community event and the opportunity to raise funds for our school!

A virtual race gives runners the opportunity to complete the 5K from anywhere. Whether you’re in the DC area and prefer a treadmill or favorite trail, or you’re supporting from afar, you can get involved!

• If you choose the virtual option, simply run the race distance and upload your finishing time via the RaceJoy app. The window for completing your run will be May 22-23. All run times must be submitted by 11:59PM on May 23, no exception!

• If you choose to run with other Centaurs, starting time will be May 23 at 9:00AM from near the Mann parking lot, followed by a finish line celebration on the field at 10:00AM.  This will be a fun run that will not be on a closed course.

Let's come together as a community on May 23rd to show our support for Mann teachers, staff, students, and the greater Mann community! The Mann PTA thanks you for supporting the race and hopes you can join us – virtually or in-person.  Funds from the race will go towards our amazing partner teachers -- let's see which grade can raise the most!
