Description

The Second Annual Emerson Point Scenic Sunrise 5K will take place February 2023 at the beautiful Emerson Point Preserve in Palmetto, FL. The course will be a fast out and back from the entrance of the park to the point and back on a mix of crushed gravel trails and road. This will be the first event in the annual Sunrise2Sunset series supporting the Big Bill Foundation.All participants will receive a race shirt, bib, and a custom die-cast medal. Packet pickup dates and times will be announced as we get closer to race day. King and Queen of the Point ChallengeThe fastest Male and Female Overall and Masters runners to make it to the turnaround at the point will receive a special award from one of our sponsors. Parking for the event will be available at the large field on 17th St W .6 miles East of the park entrance. Participants will need to walk or jog from the parking lot to the start/finish area.
