Arlington Marathon hits the trails in Fort Worth on October 24th and 25th! Due to social distancing needs we have decided to move the RESCHEDULED Arlington Marathon to the Trinity Trails in Fort Worth, Texas to allow more space for runners and spectators to spread out along the route. The Trinity Trail System is easily accessible to runners, spectators, volunteers, and medical personnel.

Due to the CDC and the State of Texas guidelines, we have decided to cap each respective race distance to avoid overcrowding the trail. We would like to have temperature checks for all registered participants before the start of the run to reduce the risk of someone participating with an unknown fever. We will check each participants temperature and issue a distinct wristband to show they are not running a fever and are compliant.

We do understand a temperature check may not be necessarily “required” through the CDC Guidelines. However, we want to strongly encourage your cooperation for the health and safety of all participants. Please help us make this a successful TEAM EFFORT.

We will practice social distancing throughout the event by “requiring” each registered participant to wear a mask at the start of the races and dispose of the mask shortly after the start of the race when they feel the crowd has disbursed enough. We will have a trashcan approximately 100-400 meters away from the start to dispose of temporary masks. This is a chip-timed event, therefore runners should distance themselves at the start accordingly to have a social distanced and safe start. We will line up according to your pace along the trails for the start. We will start in quick waves to limit the crowding at the start line.

After we reach capacity for each distance online registration will close accordingly. Therefore, we strongly recommend registering online as soon as possible.

Come join us on October 24-25 for the RESCHEDULED 3rd Annual Arlington Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K & 5K! See old friends and make new ones. Runners and race walkers from all over the community are welcome to come out and participate in our 2020 event. Whether you are a competitive runner, mid-pack runner, jogger or walker, everyone will have a great time.

ALL FINISHERS IN THE FULL MARATHON, HALF MARATHON, 10K, & 5K WILL RECEIVE THE ORIGINAL FINISHER MEDALS FOR THE ARLINGTON MARATHON (dated March 29, 2020).

RESULTS WILL BE CHIP-TIMED BY COX RACING SERVICES on race day at The Runner Shop in Arlington after Tuesday, November 3rd. Awards will not be mailed after the event. Therefore, award winners must pick up their award at race site or by November 25th at The Runner Shop in Arlington.
