Two hundred years ago, the Clow family turned prairie grasses into a successful farmstead that they named Riverview. Three generations harvested wheat and corn while raising livestock to grow their family. They also operated a 200-acre commercial farm. An interpretive naturalist will share stories of life back then, with a special look at harvest time and the early farm equipment used. There will be an opportunity to examine the inside of the 19th century buildings and explore the grounds of the preserve. Then try your hand at a cornhusk craft.
