10:30 AM Start-10k Charity / 10:45 AM 10k open /11 am 10k Open

-Charity 10k  will be locked in at $40 with 50% going towards our charity organization(s)- 

Important Info:
**Finisher Medal will be awarded to all runners along with a Distance Specific Glass

Format: 8 hours as many laps as possible: Course approx. 6-7 miles with approximately 50 obstacles. 
Lap 1-5: All obstacles
Lap 6+: 5k course with all obstacles
**At 3:30 pm all course obstacles will close except those designated around the lake area by officials.
**At 3:30pm any laps started will be on the 5k course. Latest start of last lap will be BY 4PM. This last 10k or 5k lap must be completed by 5pm.

Penalties for all Ultra Divisions: All obstacles must be attempted- NO TOUCH AND GO or there will be immediate DQ from the event. 
There is NO MANDATORY COMPLETION requirement for ANY ULTRA DIVISON and you may re attempt any obstacle as many times as you'd like before doing the penalty.
*****A Rubber wristband will be given to you by volunteers at a pre determined number of obstacles for successful completion each lap. Upon completion of your lap, you will check in with the scoring table and present all bands. If you are missing a band(s) for that lap a penalty(s) must be completed before your time is logged and you may start your next lap. ****Both members of any ULTRA TEAM must present their bands or each member completes the penalty.

ULTRA:
This event will be primarily self supported!!!
Bring all items you'll need for up-to 8 Hours!!!
2 water stations will be available on course at the approximate midway point and a supply of items at the Gear Bin drop area.
DROP BIN: Any size bucket / storage container is permissible. Limited # of spaces for a pop canopy tent are available as well for groups that would like to have one area. The gear bin area will be directly parallel to the lake front by our finishing obstacles / scoring / penalty areas weather permitting

Team Challenge Heat: Teams of 3 or more (At least 1 male or female member)
-Teams Must Start and Finish Together
-Teams Must Create and Bring a Team Flag That cant touch the ground.
-Assistance can be given on all obstacles except hanging obstacles where no support is allowed. 

Volunteering: Full day or half day shifts that allow same day 10k racing plus event tee will be made available.
THIS WILL COMPLIMENT OUR CHARITY GROUP CREW OF ON COURSE AND FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERS.

Onsite vendors:  Vendors again will not have a fee to setup a pop tent. A donation request of items from each vendor will be required that will aid in the pre race and race day prize offerings to our entrants in exchange for the free vendor spot on race day. Kick off the 2020 Viking season with our Winter Virtual Run, Stage 1 of the 3 Stage
Ulfhednar Ultra Viking and Open Viking Series including our February Virtual Run and the May 3rd / July 26 events.

VIKING Ulfhednar Series Pass: $150
Open to all level runners this year. You will earn a Special Medal completing the minimum series requirements.
Series award for those who complete all stages:
-At least (1) 5k run logged on strava during virtual run
-At Least (3) Combined 10k laps between May 3rd and July 26th events. Medal will be on hand in May for Finishers.
**Those already registered for another Stage may message directly and pay the difference of the series cost to get your other entry codes. 

**Ulfhednar Series finishers who complete a combined 6 or more 10k Laps will receive an additional Award on July 26th.
