HARPER CLASSIC​
Join us Saturday, April 18th for the Harper Classic 8k (5mi.) and 5k memorial run/walk at Tri-Valley High School in Dresden Ohio. This annual event honors the life of Sgt. Brad Harper who sacrificed his life August 3rd 2005 while serving his country in Iraq. Participants will also have the opportunity to view the Eyes of Freedom Memorial that honors Brad and all of Ohio based Lima Company 3/25 that lost their lives while serving.

The Race will start and finish at the High School

PLEASE NOTE* This is a new venue than in years past.

RACE COURSE:
Both 5k and 8k (5mi.) Participants will start at the High School and follow the tree lined Dresden Bike trail along the river for the first 3/4 mile where they will them briefly follow Main St.. The 8k Participants will continue out Dresden road where they will again pick up the bike trail before retuning back into town and picking up the 5k Course where both routes continue together and follow several Dresden Village Streets offering that Home town feel before once again returning back to the High School to the finish.There will also be a kids race free of charge in front of the High School before the 8k Start.

If you can’t make it sign up for the Virtual Run, show you support by running on your own and we will send you a Race Shirt in the mail.
PLEASE NOTE* This is the same Route we have used in the past except we are starting at a different location on the route.

STARTING TIME:
8K Run-10:00am
5K Run / Walk-10:15am

AWARDS:

8k Race - This is a Timed Competitive Event Participants will be eligible for Overall and Age group awards

5k Race - This is a Timed Competitive Event Participants will be eligible for Overall and Age group awards

5k Fun Run/Walk - This is a Non-Timed Event Participants will not eligible for awards. Those that want to be eligible for Awards should sign up for the 5k - Race.

Awards will be issued to the Top three overall male/female finishers in both the 5k and 8k. Top Age Group awards will  also be issued to the top three finishers in each category:

14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-59, 70+ 

RACE RESULTS:
Results will be published on our website at www.muskingummultisports.com following the conclusion of the race.

RACE PACKETS & FINISH-LINE PERKS:
Your race packet will include a Unisex Moisture wicking Tech T-shirt with the official race logo, finish line food and beverage.
All participates registered by April 9th are guaranteed a Race T-shirt. Extra T-shirts will be first come first serve on race day.

PRE-REGISTRATION:
1) Print and mail the entry form to P.O. Box 414 Dresden Oh. 43821 A printable entry is available at the top of this page.
2) Register online here.
3) Register on race day or pick up your race packet starting at 8:30am.

ENTRY FEES:​Add $5.00 to your entry for Race Day registration.

5k Race -  $30 - through April 19th – Late Entry $35 April 10th to race day
5k Fun Run/Walk (Non-Timed) -  $30 - through April 9th – Late Entry $35 April 10th to race day
Virtual Run $30 - through April 18th – Includes Race Shirt and Shipping

Kids race - Free
All proceeds will benefit the Brad Harper Memorial scholarship fund and the Semper Fi Fund
