Description

This is the 15th Annual " RUN FOR WINGS" 5K RUN/WALK event! This is one of the flattest and fastest courses in West MI. The race is chip timed and is great for the serious runner looking for a personal best, great for the first time 5k runner, and great for walkers as well. Strollers are also welcome. Please arrive 45 minutes prior to start time of 8 a.m. EST in order to ensure that you obtain your T-shirt, timing chip, and race packet. As a registered runner/walker you will also receive a free pancake breakfast.

We offer a choice of T-shirt style. You will be able to choose from a Sweat Wicking or standard cotton T-shirt. (Registration for a Sweat Wicking shirt will only be $5 more)

*This year we are offering a "no Shirt Option" at a reduced price. 

There are many other activities going on after the 5k. The annual Wings of Mercy "Care Affair" pancake breakfast also includes plane rides, helicopter rides, antique cars, and other family events. Bring the whole family for a day of fun!!!

"Day of race" registration is available; however, pre-race sign ups are preferred to ensure appropriate accommodations for all participants. The price is $30 for "day of" registration. If any moisture wicking shirts are still available for "day of" registration, there will be an additioanl $5 charge at that time.

100% of your registration fee will go to the West Michigan chapter of Wings of Mercy.

Wings of Mercy is a non-profit volunteer pilot organization. It is dedicated to providing access to FREE, private airplane transportation for medical patients with low/limited disposable income. Wings of Mercy is supported through donations from individuals, private businesses, churches, and fund raising events such as our 5k event. Thanks for being a part of such a great cause!!!!
