The Fifth Annual Sailfish Beer Mile is the only TIMED one-mile race that features beer stops approximately every 1/4 mile and water at the end of the race, instead of the reverse! The exciting event begins and ends in beautiful downtown Fort Pierce and offers individual and team competition, a chip-timed, certified course and free craft beer or root beer with your entry.Entry fee also includes the famous Sailfish Beer Mile tee shirt and unique bottle-opener finisher medal. The first wave of runners will begin at 4:30 PM and there will be waves following every 15 minutes. Waves will be limited to no more than 100 runners, so there will be no crowding of the race field. Proceeds benefit the Early Learning Coalition of St. Lucie County and early childhood education.
