Lenoir-Rhyne University and the City of Hickory are proud to present the 5th Annual LRU 5K & *Bear Dash. This course will start and finish at Lenoir-Rhyne University, and lead you out and back on the streets adjacent the University. As a RunTimeRaces produced event, be assured this 5K will be well organized and leave you with an Awesome Race Experience. *Please note the Bear Dash is free and open to participants 10 & under.

Phantom Runner

Can't participate and would still like to support our event and get a cool race shirt? Consider being a PHANTOM RUNNER (No participation required, shirts may be picked up at Packet Pick up or on-site Race Day).

Early Registration through 11:59 pm on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 includes a FREE RACE TEE. Race Day Registration opens from 7:15 am - 8:15 am Race Day (While LRU will strive to provide all 5K participants with a race day race tee, those who do not sign up before the April 6th registration deadline will not be guaranteed a race tee). 

Awards
Given to the top 3 male & female finishers, and top Overall Masters male and female. Awards will go to the top 3 male and female 5K finishers in the following age groups:

Age Divisions (Male & Female)
10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 PLUS
