The ultimate Brooklyn Beer run is back! Runners take their mark and run a fast and furious FRIDAY NIGHT 5k for the holy grail of beverages.. beer! This is a race that is capped off with a proper post race awards party at Farrell's Bar in Prospect Park to quench your unbridled thirst from a hard day running the pavement. You can run for yourself or run for your favorite watering hole. The Tavern with the most runners and the fastest feet will win the coveted Tavern Cup!! Bib Pickup and Race Registration:
The race will be starting promptly at 6pm. Bib pickup will be held at Farrell's Bar, 215 Prospect Park West starting at 3pm . Come early, get your race day materials and have plenty of time for your pre-race warm ups and routines.
Baggage Check will be available at the Start/Finish Line.
Transportation and Parking:
The race start/finish as well as registration will all be held at Farrell's Bar located at 215 Prospect Park West, the starting line is a short walk away at the Bartel-Pritchard Square Entrance at Prospect Park.
There is metered and free street parking when available. but the best way is taking the F or G train to 15th street?Prospect Park West exit.
Route:
The Tavern Cup Friday Night 5k will be a spectator friendly, one loop (3.1 mile) course in Brooklyn's iconic landmark parks, Prospect Park! Pre and Post race will be held at the legendary Farrell's Bar where we will have post race festivities and awards for: Age group, Overall, and Tavern Cup winners!
