Join us for fitness and Halloween fun in the 55th annual Carson Park 5 & 10, Wisconsin's Home Run Since 1969!

Enjoy a challenging, scenic course in and around Carson Park! With the 10-mile course featuring the new stretch of trail between Rod and Gun Park and Carson Park.

Run/walk your first or fastest 5K and receive a Carson cap!

Stick around afterwards for lots of post-race fun including:

*Scheels and Festival Foods gift cards to top overall finishers.

*Medals to age-group winners.

*Halloween costume contest with Scheels and Festival Foods gift card prizes.

*Refreshments including one free beer (must to 21 or over) or soda to all entrants.

*Free train rides courtesy of the Chippewa Valley Railroad Association and Free Museum Tours courtesy of the Chippewa Valley Museum.

*Plus, all entrants are eligible every week in October for a weekly Logging Miles drawing for $25 Scheels gift cards.

 

Sat. Oct. 28th Event Schedule

8:30 a.m.--5K & 10-mile run/walk

9 a.m.-Noon--Free tours of the Chippewa Valley Museum for all event participants

10:30 a.m.--Awards, Halloween Costume Contest with Scheels gift card prizes

11 a.m.--Kid's 1/4 mile & 1-mile BOO-GIE Run

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.--Train Rides--one free ride to all with a Carson race bib/shirt and all kids in costume

 

Race shirt and # pickup will be available at the Wisconsin Logging Museum (Paul Bunyan Logging Camp) 4 to 7 pm Friday, Oct. 27th and 6:30 to 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28th.

 

 

Event proceeds benefit the Chippewa Valley Museum and the ITC Running/Walking Club, two non-profit organizations with a long history of promoting community education, fitness, and service.
